The two closely aligned sports with similar fanbases should make for an easy transition, one that promises to attract a whole new set of fans for Dylan Bostic. Wrestling and boxing, after all, both have big egos and personalities that draw the attention of the public. This is nothing new to the wrestling superstar, building momentum from every cheer, jeer, howl, or taunt from the crowd.

Dylan is taking that energy and propelling himself to the next level with a transition to professional boxing.

Dylan Bostic’s Wrestling Career

At 15, the young hopeful started training with Dan Garza in Whiteland, Indiana. He trained under legendary trainer Rip Rogers, aka Disco Kid. He gained skills that not only helped him break into wrestling but helped teach him the art and athleticism of combat sports.

Dylan has wrestled for ICW, OVW, and NSPW, traveling over North America and making a name for himself. Trying to break into his dream wrestling career wasn’t always great. On his WWE tryouts, Dylan says, “I’ve had many ups and downs in my career. Getting told “no” by WWE after multiple tryouts that went great, in my opinion, hurts, but I had to keep working.”

If wrestling teaches you anything, it’s to take disappointment on the chin. Dylan Bostic didn’t back down. Through disappointment, through triumph, through it all, Dylan Bostic is a wrestler’s wrestler. Over the years, he’s won several championships throughout the United States and Canada.

As Dylan transitions into boxing, he makes it clear that wrestling was the stage that molded him into what he is. The fans that support him are in for a remarkable transformation.

“Wrestling is in a great position, and so is boxing,” Dylan states. “Both industries have a lot of new viewers, and both are booming. I’m looking to make all of the wrestling fans proud of my pro boxing debut.”

Dylan Bostic the Boxer

While Dylan is still wrestling professionally, but he’s transitioning into boxing. As another combat sport and a natural line of progression from wrestling, boxing makes for a perfect change of pace. As Dylan shifts from wrestling to professional boxing, he has a huge advantage: he understands the stage and fighting, whether it be the audience surrounding it or the opponent inside it. There’s no learning curve to go over.

Training under retired pro boxer Cedric “Ced” Johnson, Dylan is easing into the field. It sees him back in Indiana under the wing of CBA Promotions. Dylan is more than optimistic about his pro boxing career: he’s sure.
